This is where you write about the shoot in your own voice. Talk about the lighting approach — what motivated it, what you were trying to feel, what you were fighting against. Directors read this to understand how you think.

You can write about a specific challenge: a location that only had one window, a scene that had to be shot in an hour before the sun moved, a moment where you threw out the plan and followed something instinctive.

Keep it honest and specific. Generic language about "collaboration" and "vision" says nothing. A concrete detail about why you chose a particular lens or what the color of the walls did to the light says everything.

A third paragraph can continue the story — maybe the moment the shot finally came together, or what you'd do differently next time.
